Professional Involvements

EJY Engineering and Forensics staff actively  participate in numerous committees and scientific research initiatives in the field of fire and explosion engineering, including:

• Member of the technical committee: Research, Tools & Methods Standing Committee (SFPE)
• Member of the technical committee: CSA N393 Fire protection for facilities that process, handle, or
  store nuclear substances.
• Member of Technical Committee: NFPA 801, NFPA 804. NFPA 805 and NFPA 806 Fire Protection for Nuclear Facilities.
• Member of the technical committee: NFPA 56 Gas Process Safety.
• Non-voting member: NBCC-2020 National Building Code of Canada (Previously)
• Non-voting Member: NFCC-2020 National Fire Code of Canada (Previously)
• Member of technical committee: NFPA 1082 Building Fire and Life Safety Directors.
